As we head into the 2018 season, we can reflect upon a very busy 2017, having contributed towards well over 100 fantastic events, from simple garden parties to VVIP celebrations. As you will see from our Testimonials page we once again delivered beyond our clients’ expectations, creating some stunning temporary event venues, and providing an all-encompassing service that goes far beyond ‘building a tent’.
Our forward order book is looking fantastic, with many regular clients booking for repeat or new events, and many new customers entrusting us with their special occasions.
Whilst private individuals prove as ever to be the mainstay of our business, we continue to work for a range of top-flight caterers and event co-ordinators on some demanding, exciting and diverse projects. We believe that the transparency of our quoting, our ability to manage as much or as little as a client requires (including a wide array of ancillary services) and ultimately our delivery, mean that many event industry professionals continue to put their faith in us.
We are recommended marquee supplier to prestigious venues such as the now world famous Highclere Castle (AKA Downton Abbey) near Newbury, stunning Rockley Manor near Marlborough, exclusive Aynhoe Park near Bicester, beautiful Avington Park near Winchester, and luxurious Lords of the Manor Hotel in Gloucestershire. Please see our venues page for a selection of stunning locations we are recommended by, and we in turn recommend if you are looking for a space for your event.
Ever conscious of complacency we always strive to improve our service, and in 2017 we invested in more marquees, interior linings, smart glazed doors, PVC roofs and walls, lighting and related equipment. We can supply marquees in 2m/3m/5m/6m/9m/12m/15m/20m and 25m spans, and have bespoke ‘bays’ for many of our marquees, meaning we can often fit a marquee structure where others cannot. We have purchased more stunning glass balustrading, outside decking ‘cassette’ flooring, and we have also increased our stock of raised floor systems, meaning we can suspend marquee floors up to 3m off the ground without the need for scaffold sub-structures – perfect for sites with steep slopes or where the marquee needs to be suspended over the top of existing features.
We have benefited greatly from an additional warehouse, doubling our under-cover capacity, and providing dedicated cleaning facilities, helping to keep our marquees in tip-top condition.
We are now busy with stock taking, repairs, cleaning and general preparation for the coming months. All is set for a fantastic year!
